Wow, 14 years later, the Aqua 8’s make a return. These are holy grail status for a lot of the heads out there I know. Kids were buying the originals of these wearing them twice and watching the midsoles crumble due to the old age, just so they could rock these beasts. Well Jordan brand is bringing back the aqua VIII’s along with a whole slew of other retro+ colorways. The aquas originally came out in 1993, and were the same aqua/purple colorway as the Grape V’s but with a nubuck black base. Although I’ve never personally been a fan of the VIII’s I do admire them. They were high tops with a dual strap across the front, first Air Jordan to really look like a space boot in my opinion. These will be releasing on 09/22/2007 witha retail price of $140. The official style number is 305381-041 and colorway: Black/Bright Concord-Aqua Tone. The quality on these from the pics looks to be pretty good considering the last 20 something Air Jordan retros from the past year or two and look fairly close to the original.

I collect all the jordans that come out and I am not over-exaggerating when I say that the Air Jordan 8’s return is by far most the shoe ever with it’s radical twists and turns. It goes against the things you are supposed to do when making a shoe, the design are insane,I can’t really explain it, but when they release them, I’m going to get them all.

back in 2003 i missed out on all of the retro 8s but in 2007 i will be sure not to miss out on them again because i will be the first one in the world with the fire aquas. Get it fire aquas. Lol.
