Nike SB New England Lobster Dunk Low
December 25, 2007 on 4:59 am | In Nike SB, Sneakers |
Here’s a sample pic of an upcoming dunk low from Nike SB. These were designed by Rob Heppler of the Weekly Drop, a funny dude from Boston. The inspiration for these was taken the lobster, a staple of the New England area. These shoes feature typical lobster coloring; a pinkish red, including the speckly dots they have all over their exoskeleton. The swoosh is outlined with white (Nike has been outlining their swooshes a lot lately, which I haven’t decided if I actually like or not yet), and the sock liner and insole have a checkered white/pink pattern taken from the classic lobster bib. Top them off with a black midsole and red sole. These will also come with blue bands around the toebox to resemble the rubberbands around the lovster claws. A somewhat lame concept, but they did execute it pretty well.
