The Site

SneakerHunt is a site that was created by a sneakerhead from NYC in the spring of 2006. There are a lot of resources out there for Nike shoes, Air Jordans and sneaker collecting in general, but in due time the goal of this site is to offer everything you need in one place. It is currently managed by a one man team, with a full-time job, so the growth will be slow and gradual.

The Creator

The voice behind Sneaker Hunt is me, a 23 yr-old sneakerhead from NYC. I got into collecting about 4 yrs ago, not exactly sure when, but it was shortly before the 2nd series of Nike SB’s were dropping, if that gives you some time reference. I don’t claim to be the authority on anything, but I feel that I have a lot of knowledge of the game. I’ve seen the sneaker game change SIGNIFICANTLY in this short amount of time. In some aspects for the better, in some for the worse, but it’s not nearly the same as it was when i started keeping up.

My collection consists of mainly Air Maxes, the Air Max 95 being my favorite shoe and top pick (and no i’m not a fan of the new midsole and air bubble design). Then there’s a buncha Jordans, a couple of dunks, some skate shoes, and various other runners. I rock EVERY pair I own. If I haven’t worn it, it’s either a double, or I just got it. I recently unloaded a lot of my kicks (the ones i didn’t wear often enough), and currently only holding about 30 pairs, but I love each and every one of them, and that’s what really matters. I’m mostly into Nikes, but on occasion another brand will catch my eye. Look out for my small collection pics in the near future….
